Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative's North Lawrence Plant seeks a seasoned Plant Superintendent to lead Production, Coolers, Maintenance and Quality control, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operation.

You will drive continuous improvement, supervise supervisors, coordinate with Distribution, and maintain compliance with SQF, HACCP, FISMA, and related regulations, while fostering a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate the performance of direct reports
• Ability to think analytically
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Must show enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work and a commitment to the organization and its mission
• Good computer skills, MS Windows, Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Directs Production, Coolers, Maintenance and Quality control activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to employees for development and safety culture.
• Coordinate daily department activities to meet business objectives.
• Communicate non-conformances to management for corrective action.
• Monitor safety programs and ensure SOP updates.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Distribution to manage inventory and packaging.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce losses and costs.
