Job summary

Leprino, at its new state-of-the-art facility in Lubbock, seeks a Plant Engineering Manager II to lead Engineering and Maintenance teams, guide capital projects, and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role includes budgeting, coordinating with Production, and developing procedures and training for new systems.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in food manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership, and a Bachelor's in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in food manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools and ability to learn SAP or similar manufacturing systems.
• Prior people leadership experience directing plant Maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and guide the Engineering and Maintenance teams to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Plan and oversee capital projects, including facility construction, equipment upgrades, and energy improvements.
• Prepare the annual engineering budget and shape multi-year capital programs.
• Coordinate with Production to align maintenance schedules with demand.
• Create project documentation, SOPs, and training materials for systems.
