Qualifications

• Previous dairy experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to supervise and develop employees.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside staff.
• Experience with herd health, reproduction, calf care, parlor operations, and youngstock management or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills to maintain records using dairy management software.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
• Spanish-speaking ability or willingness to learn preferred.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and ensure protocols are followed.
• Assist with herd health, reproduction, calf and heifer management, and parlor operations.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory and purchasing.
• Collaborate with management for efficient daily operation.
