Job summary

Gossner Foods in Utah’s Logan area is seeking a Mixing Operator to operate equipment in the Mixing Department, batch and standardize products, complete production and quality documentation, and perform CIP cleaning while following food safety and GMP standards. The role requires teamwork, dependability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable with consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must perform physical duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must complete required pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness testing.
• Job-specific training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all equipment within the Mixing Department.
• Prepare, batch, and standardize products according to production specifications.
• Accurately complete required production, batching, and quality documentation.
• Perform manual equipment cleaning and automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.
• Obtain raw milk samples for quality testing.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients for batches under supervision.
• Monitor equipment and product conditions and report abnormalities.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with training new employees on Mixing Department procedures and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other team members as needed to support production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
