Duties

  • Manage inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels and freshness of products.
  • Oversee purchasing and pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
  • Implement effective merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to improve team performance.
  • Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks related to the dairy department.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of dairy operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize retail math skills for accurate pricing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with upper management on sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in retail management or grocery store operations, preferably within the dairy sector.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and employee supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
