Leprino in Denver seeks a Dairy Liquids Operations Analyst to coordinate real-time sales, scheduling, and transportation across our plant network.

You will connect plant production with customer demand, streamline the order-to-cash process, and work closely with carriers and customers to maintain reliable service and respond quickly to disruptions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, economics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in sales operations, transportation, order-to-cash, or supply chain execution within food, dairy, or food distribution.
• Experience working with transportation carriers, freight coordination, or logistics planning.
• Experience using Excel to organize, analyze, and present operational or financial data.
• Ability to support a rotating on-call schedule, including nights and weekends, approximately one week per month.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and adjust weekly production and sales schedules based on real-time plant output and demand.
• Coordinate the full order-to-cash process, including order entry, shipment tracking, invoicing, and issue resolution.
• Communicate daily with carriers, plant personnel, and external suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and resolve disruptions.
• Monitor loads in transit, manage cancellations or schedule changes, and secure alternative transportation.
• Evaluate rejected or distressed inventory to minimize waste and maximize value recovery.
• Analyze pricing, components, yield, and weight data to identify discrepancies and opportunities.
• Develop relationships with carrier partners and drive transportation performance.
• Enhance operational efficiency by organizing data and improving reporting tools.
• Partner with plant operations, logistics, accounting, and customer teams to improve communication and drive efficiencies.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule approximately one week per month.

Within our Corporate Supply Chain team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Dairy Liquids Operations Analyst to coordinate real-time sales, scheduling, and transportation activities across our plant network. This role operates at the center of weekly execution, connecting plant production, customer demand, and freight movement to keep product flowing. You will work closely with internal transportation partners, carriers, and customers to respond to changes quickly and maintain reliable service!

At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $73,000 and $81,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%. Additional compensation is provided for on-call assignments.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, manage, and adjust weekly Other Dairy Liquids (ODL) production and sales schedules based on real-time plant output, customer demand, and market conditions. Cross-train on cream sales processes, with primary responsibility focused on ODL business management.
• Coordinate the full order-to-cash process, including order entry, shipment tracking, invoicing, and issue resolution with external ODL suppliers and customers.
• Communicate daily with carriers, plant personnel, and external suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and quickly resolve operational disruptions.
• Monitor loads in transit, manage cancellations or schedule changes, and secure alternative transportation solutions to maintain service levels.
• Evaluate rejected or distressed product inventory and identify opportunities to redirect, reprocess, or sell product to minimize waste and maximize value recovery.
• Analyze pricing, components, yield, and weight data to identify discrepancies, uncover opportunities, and ensure accurate transactions and settlements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners by coordinating schedules, setting clear expectations, and driving consistent transportation performance.
• Enhance operational efficiency by organizing data, improving reporting tools, and streamlining information flow across internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner closely with plant operations, logistics, accounting, and customer teams to improve communication, drive efficiencies, and support business objectives.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (approximately one week per month) to respond to plant operational changes, transportation issues, weather-related disruptions, and other time-sensitive events.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, economics, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in sales operations, transportation, order-to-cash, or supply chain execution within food, dairy, or food distribution
• Experience working with transportation carriers, freight coordination, or logistics planning
• Experience using Excel to organize, analyze, and present operational or financial data
• The ability to support a rotating on-call schedule, including nights and weekends, approximately one week per month
• The ability to travel up to 10%

• Experience working with liquid dairy products such as cream, condensed skim, or whey
