- Use Computer Assisted Ordering to manage merchandise and supplies, ensuring proper inventory accounting.
- Price and display merchandise, maintain signage, ensure product freshness, and proper space allocation.
- Engage and counsel associates on merchandising, customer service, and promotional activities.
- Implement company programs and policies, especially regarding a harassment- and discrimination-free work environment.
- Contribute to department budgets, goals, and results, maximizing sales and profits.
- Communicate effectively with associates and customers to foster a positive environment.
- Maintain equipment and facilities safely and properly.
- Keep floor, shelf, and display areas clean and sanitary.
- Maintain accurate department temperature logs across shifts.
- Assist with inventories, store resets, remodels, and promotions.
- Supervise and coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
