Gerrity's Supermarkets in Northeastern Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Dairy Clerk to support the Dairy and Grocery Department. You will stock shelves, rotate back stock, and ensure clean, organized aisles while delivering courteous customer service.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety policies, dress code, and team collaboration with the Grocery Manager and Store Manager to maintain accurate shelf labeling and daily specials.

Qualifications

• Ability to hear, speak, and understand the spoken word.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret and understand the English language with sufficient proficiency to read and understand.
• Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and taste or smell.
• Must be able to move and/or lift 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and dress grocery shelves.
• Maintain and organize back stock.
• Keep grocery sales area, shelves, floors and back room neat and sanitary.
• Replenish daily specials and ensure correct shelf labels/signs.
• Adhere to safety policies and dress code; present professional appearance.
• Support department manager and team to enhance customer experience.
