Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, share product knowledge, restock and merchandise displays, and ensure food safety standards are followed across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to use store technology to complete tasks quickly. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to be physically active.
• Comfort with using technology for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions and locate items.
• Maintain fresh, attractive displays in Fresh departments.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Keep shelves clean and store organized.
