Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will connect with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain clean, well‑stocked displays in a fast-paced store environment.

Ideal candidates bring a customer-first mindset and comfort with using store technology. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required. Weekly pay and flexible scheduling are features of this role.

Responsibilities

• Utilize store systems to complete routine tasks efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support additional tasks to keep store operations smooth.
