Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, stock and merchandise, and maintain clean, attractive displays.

You\'ll work with product knowledge, learn store technology, and collaborate with teammates to keep operations running smoothly while adhering to safety standards and quality procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
