Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to help deliver a friendly, efficient store experience in our Fresh departments. You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and maintain clean, well-stocked displays to help families find what they need.

Day-to-day tasks involve stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, using store technology, and following food safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
