Job summary

AgSource seeks a Dairy Field Technician to support dairy farms across Portage, Shawano, Waupaca, Outagamie and Brown Counties. The role involves daily travel to client locations and performing on-site data collection and milk testing using company software.

You will record test day information, set up meters, and ensure accurate sample handling while adhering to safety and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of service experience desirable and dairy farming knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide data and milk sample collection services on dairy farms in a safe, timely and professional manner.
• Accurately record test day information electronically on tablets, laptops or other means.
• Transport and set-up milk sample meters at the dairy farm on test day, prior to the start of testing.
• Accurately identify and stow sample bottles in racks, preserving the identity of each sample bottle.
• Clean equipment as appropriate at the conclusion of testing.
• Transfer records via the company’s proprietary software.
