Job summary

Specialty Herd Solutions is seeking a Dairy Service Technician to survey, install, program, maintain, and repair our equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include installing and programming equipment, performing plumbing and electrical fabrication, and troubleshooting systems in barns and parlors.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, welding, electrical wiring, and concrete work.
• Strong troubleshooting and equipment repair skills.
• Experience working autonomously on-site at customer locations, managing your own schedule and traveling heavily as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Survey, install, set up, and program custom equipment at customer locations.
• Perform plumbing, welding, and electrical fabrication for systems including HoofStrong systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair installed equipment systems.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory.
