Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in California is seeking a Dairy Clerk to keep dairy and frozen cases stocked, clean, and well presented during business hours.

You will assist customers with purchases and product selection, weigh and label items, rotate stock, and log shipments while following safety rules and maintaining a cooperative team environment. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to work a flexible schedule that includes night, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrate dependability and reliability within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Able to lift 40–60 lbs. and walk long distances during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep dairy and frozen cases stocked, clean, and organized.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for temperature and quality.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and shelf labeling.
• Operate equipment safely (knives, scales, pallet jacks).
• Walk department regularly to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
