Fiesta Mart in Houston, TX seeks a Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk to assist customers, stock displays, and maintain a clean, organized department. The role supports a fast-paced grocery environment with emphasis on friendly customer service and proper product presentation.

Candidates should be able to read/write in Spanish and English, communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds as needed. EEO commitments apply.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information to customers one-on-one or in small groups.
• Follow simple written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Physically lift/move up to 60 pounds occasionally, up to 45 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds regularly.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, courteous service in the Dairy Deli Frozen Department under direct supervision.
• Assist customers, clean display cases, and rotate self-serve displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Dairy Deli Frozen area.
• Support fast-paced store operations and safety standards.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position will assist customers, clean display cases, and clean shelves. The clerk will also clean, fill, and rotate the self‑serve displays within the Dairy Deli Frozen Department. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
