Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Dairy Clerk to maintain pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the dairy department to ensure freshness and availability of products.

You will assist with unloading deliveries and transport stock to stock areas, keeping shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations. The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to read and write to tag merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
• Ability to unload, transport and place merchandise in requested areas.
• Lift up to 70 pounds, about 40% of the time.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Stand upright for most of the scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading the merchandise when deliveries arrive at the store.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas to replenish the shelf.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building and replenishing store displays, end caps, and dairy bunkers.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-code products as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Present assigned section neatly before leaving at the end of shift.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to the dress code policy.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
