Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Dairy Clerk in Scottsdale, AZ to keep the dairy and frozen cases stocked, clean, and organized during store hours. You will help customers, weigh and label products, and maintain safety and accuracy as directed by the Dairy Department.

Responsibilities include stocking, product rotation, inventory checks, and working with promotional materials, while adhering to department procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show a mutual respect for others, maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Require vertically/horizontally transferring boxes/crates weighing between 40-60 lbs., from 5— 72— or from 62— 9—, for a distance up to 10 feet for between 6—50 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Be able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift.
• Must use a 2-step stool to access shelves for up to 1 step per 8 hours.
• Be able to walk up to 3 miles per 8-hour shift.
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Keeps dairy cases, storage area, and work area clean and safe.
• Stocks dairy cases with proper presentation, pricing, and organization.
• Rotates dairy products and discards expired items.
• Assists customers with purchases, information, and product selection.
• Receives and logs shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Monitors signage and provides recipe cards, coupons, and information on complimentary foods.
