Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Dairy Clerk to keep dairy and frozen cases stocked, clean, and welcoming for customers. You will assist shoppers, ensure accurate pricing and product rotation, and operate equipment like scales and pallet jacks.

The role requires a friendly, energetic demeanor, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Training will cover safety guidelines and daily store maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Show mutual respect within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Physically capable of lifting 40–60 lbs., and moving items up to 10 ft.
• Able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Must use a 2-step stool to access shelves periodically.
• Able to walk up to 3 miles per 8 hour shift.
• Comply with safety, health, OSHA and Weights & Measures regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Keep dairy and frozen cases stocked and clean during business hours.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information.
• Inspect and log product temperature and quality.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and shelf presentation.
• Operate equipment such as scales, wrappers, pallet jacks and disposals.
• Sustain product knowledge and preparation; rotate stock and check expiry dates.
• Walk the department to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
