Job summary

Meadow Gold Dairy in Billings, MT is seeking an adaptable CIP Operator (Sanitation-Plant) to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

You will operate CIP systems, assemble/disassemble equipment, maintain records, and follow GMP/SOP guidelines. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 9:00 AM–7:30 PM; off Wed, Sat, Sun. Starting wage is $21.99/hour with increases after one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background and criminal checks).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning per instruction.
• Operate CIP system to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and pipelines.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on gaskets, seals, O-rings and plates.
• Maintain records: cleaning cycle times, concentrations, flow rates and temperatures.
• Keep floors, walls, ceilings, vents and equipment surfaces clean.
• Conduct pre-operations checks on product-contact surfaces.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate operating issues.
• Collect samples for quality assurance testing.
• Document information per SOPs and required forms.
• Suggest process improvements using continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions per health and safety regulations.
