Job summary

DFA/Kemps in Le Mars, IA is hiring a Case Dock Laborer to handle finished or raw materials and support efficient dock operations. You will maintain equipment, unload trailers, and keep the dock area clean while following GMP, safety, and SOP requirements.

The position offers a Monday-Saturday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with Sundays off on a rotating basis, competitive pay of $26.49 per hour, and benefits including 401(k), health care, vacation, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measurement.
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all equipment in assigned area.
• Slide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriate.
• Ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays.
• Confirm empty case area is full of cases at end of shift to help next shift with production run.
• Utilize continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve processes.
