Job summary

Harmons is seeking a dairy clerk to help maintain quality and freshness in the dairy department. You will receive, stock, rotate, and help with special orders while delivering exceptional customer service to shoppers.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate pricing, signage, and ad items, keeping the dairy area clean, and assisting with ordering to meet demand. This role requires weekend/evening/holiday availability and a strong team mindset.

OPEN AVAILABILITY NEEDED

$15.00 - $18.46 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, and product assortment is maintained in the dairy department. This person will be receiving, stocking, and rotating product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the dairy department
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the dairy department
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the dairy department is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Receives, stores, and stocks dairy products including milk, eggs, juice, yogurt, butter, etc.
• Pulls out of date product from the dairy shelves
• Assists Dairy Manager with ordering product to meet the needs of the dairy department based on past and projected sales
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Sets a professional and positive example to others
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
