Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Draper, UT is seeking a Dairy Department Associate to maintain quality, freshness, and product assortment across dairy. You will receive, stock, rotate, and fulfill customer orders while ensuring accurate pricing and signage.

Excellent customer service, strong organization, and the ability to work weekends/evenings/holidays are essential. Experience with dairy products and basic math is helpful, and you will support the Dairy Manager with stocking and ordering as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and rotate dairy products including milk, eggs, juice, yogurt, butter, etc.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the dairy department; maintain appropriate assortment and inventory levels.
• Confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dairy department and meet company appearance standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
• Assist Dairy Manager with ordering product based on past and projected sales.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Set a professional and positive example to others.
• Assist as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole.

$15.00 - $18.46 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, and product assortment is maintained in the dairy department. This person will be receiving, stocking, and rotating product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the dairy department
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the dairy department
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the dairy department is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Receives, stores, and stocks dairy products including milk, eggs, juice, yogurt, butter, etc.
• Pulls out of date product from the dairy shelves
• Assists Dairy Manager with ordering product to meet the needs of the dairy department based on past and projected sales
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Sets a professional and positive example to others
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
