Job summary

Heinen’s is seeking a Retail Professional to support our Diamond Difference standards in daily store operations. You will prioritize tasks, learn the Dairy/Frozen department, and collaborate with teammates to ensure accurate orders, stock, and merchandising across aisles and departments.

You will be committed to food safety, temperature controls, and exceptional customer service with flexible weekend/evening availability and a willingness to work a non-traditional schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with company policies and standards.
• Must have a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Occasionally able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work a non-traditional five-day schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays and evenings.
• Exposure to extreme conditions (hot or cold) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including scanning, shrink recording, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
