Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain engaging displays to ensure a welcoming store experience.

You will stock and rotate items, work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently while following safety standards. Join us to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful but not required.
• Able to lift, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$15.25 - $16.98
