Job summary

Niemann Foods in Illinois is hiring a Frozen Food Stocker to provide excellent guest service, learn product knowledge, rotate stock, merchandise, and control shrink while adhering to safety practices.

You will perform daily stock, keep selling floor and backroom organized, support store programs, and promote sales. No formal education required; on-site requirements include ability to read safety rules and lift up to 25–50 pounds; forklift training may be required.

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
• Forklift/Power Industrial Truck Training may be required – provided at store level.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior guest service and ensures absolute customer satisfaction.
• Quality assurance checks of department.
• Proper handling and rotation of product.
• Promotes and supports established programs.
• Day to day operational procedures to ensure stock level, inventory, and cleanliness on the selling floor, backroom and freezer.
• Promotes sales.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model.
• Other duties as assigned.
