Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field is preferred.
• Current West Virginia teaching license or certification preferred.
• Previous teaching, substitute teaching, or experience with school-age students preferred.
• Comfortable in a growth-focused, collaborative environment with coaching and feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Ability to supervise and support students of various ages in classrooms and school settings.
• Ability to maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Ability to meet employment requirements including background checks.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and communities.

• Communicate and meet with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth.
• Incorporate technology into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in planning and implementation of non-instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.

About the Opportunity:

About You:

Preferred but not required

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred
• Current West Virginia teaching license or certification preferred
• Previous teaching, substitute teaching, or experience working with school-age students preferred
• Comfortable working in a growth-focused, collaborative environment that includes coaching, feedback, and ongoing professional development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• Ability to effectively supervise and support students of various ages in classroom and school settings, including the cafeteria, playground, and during transitions
• Ability to maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
• Ability to meet all applicable employment requirements, including required federal and state background checks
• Experience working with diverse student populations and communities
