Tapestry Charter School is seeking substitute teachers across all grade levels. You will provide instruction, support student progress, and help manage the learning environment.

This on-site role offers a competitive daily rate and begins September 2, 2025. Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, delivering instruction, maintaining classroom management, and supporting families through conferences when needed.

• Ensure adequate supervision of students and classroom environment.

Job description

Tapestry Charter School is seeking substitute teachers in all grade levels. This substitute teacher will provide instruction, encourage student's progress and manage the learning environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Implement existing lesson plans in a manner that ensures the integrity of academic time and motivates students to learn and participate.
• Instruct students regarding a variety of classroom topics and courses of instruction.
• Demonstrate professional practices in teaching.
• For long-term assignments, you may be required to develop lesson plans, create, administer, and grade tests/assignments; participate in parent-teacher conferences, and attend school related functions.

Classroom Management

• Maintain classroom control that fosters a safe, positive environment for all students.
• Ensure adequate supervision of students and the classroom environment to assure the health, welfare, and safety of all students.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Competitive Pay: $130 - $160 daily rate, based on certification
