Job summary

The Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District in Lakeville, MA is seeking a Daily Substitute Special Education Teacher to provide consistent instruction when the regular teacher is absent. Qualifications

• Four Years of College Credits and Certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and provide instruction as outlined in teacher plans
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment
• Support all students’ learning
• Collaborate with support staff and follow student plans as needed
• Use effective teaching and classroom management strategies
• Promote high expectations, equity, and respect for diversity
• Ensure all practices align with district policies and DESE standards
• Performance of other job-related duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor degree preferred
