Position Description

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, bringing experience in computer software development and a strong background in software testing, including integration and acceptance testing. Your role will involve designing and executing IT software tests, evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality.

This position is located in our USA VA Fort Belvoir -- USAVAFOR1 office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. "Preferred work location is one of our CGI offices in the Northern Capital Region; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other places of performance in the Washington, DC metropolitan area."

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Experience in computer software development. Provides software testing experience (integration and acceptance).
  • Must be capable of designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Must be able to prepare test scripts and all required test documentation.
  • Must be able to design and prepare all needed test data.
  • Analyzes internal security within systems.
  • Review’s test results and evaluates for conformance to design.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Five (5) years relevant experience
  • Security Clearance: Access Level: IT-2
  • Sensitivity Level: Non-critical Sensitive
  • Type of Investigation: Current Tier 3 (T3) or National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
  • DoD 8570.01-M Certification: DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification is required for this position.
  • IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II
  • IA Baseline Certification: Attachment_3_DOD 8570 Approved Baseline Certifications_Full_20210526
  • CE/OS Certificate: Attachment_4_DLA Approved CS CE List_v28_20230221. Certification must be applicable to the Oracle based DAI Application Environment
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Additional Information

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The current estimated range in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $108,300.00, dependent on various factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications.
