Position Description

We are seeking an IT Systems and Network Administrator to ensure the stable operation of our in-house computer software systems and network connections. Your role will encompass planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.

This position is located in USA VA Fort Belvoir -- USAVAFOR1.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.

Planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.

Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.

Provides end user training. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.

Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.

Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.

Performs vulnerability management.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software

solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.

  • Security Clearance: Top Secret
  • DoD 8570.01-M Certification: DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification is required for this position.
  • IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II o IA Baseline Certification: Attachment_3_DOD 8570 Approved Baseline Certifications_Full_20210526
  • CE/OS Certificate: Attachment_4_DLA Approved CS CE List_v28_20230221. Certification must be applicable to the Oracle based DAI Application Environment
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
