Job summary

Markesman Group seeks a J9 Directorate Action Group (DAG) Support Lead in Columbia, MD. The role requires active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and leads policy coordination, planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage staffing, deliverables, and reporting, while coordinating with senior leaders to align operations with strategic goals. A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience are expected, with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
• Minimum 8 years supporting large organizations or complex programs.
• Minimum 3 years of personnel management and experience partnering with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in service strategy, policy coordination, and operational planning.
• Review and analyze documents, prepare comments, and coordinate decision memoranda and legislative inputs.
• Oversee internal task management systems (WMS, ETMS2, JIRA) across the directorate.
• Draft and coordinate point papers for J9 leadership.
• Brief Directorate leaders weekly on priorities and task status.
• Prepare leadership for upcoming engagements and ensure deliverables are completed.
• Support development of cyber-related concepts of operation and doctrine.
• Serve as liaison to Division leadership to improve business processes and develop SOPs.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams and collaboration efforts.
• Compile staffing requirements and coordinate hiring actions.
• Support PMO data calls, monthly reporting, and forecasting activities.
