- Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solution designs while minimizing unnecessary customization.
- Review and govern partner-delivered solution blueprints to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Provide architectural leadership across Dataverse design, security models, governance, and platform optimization.
- Design enterprise integration strategies connecting D365 and Customer Insights with legacy ERP systems, homegrown applications, data lakes, and middleware platforms.
- Guide technical teams on integration patterns using Azure Integration Services, Power Platform capabilities, APIs, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft.
- Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and governance across interconnected enterprise systems.
Power Platform & Modernization
- Lead architecture and governance initiatives across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks.
- Develop future-state roadmaps leveraging Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.
- Establish governance standards for AI usage, data security, compliance, and platform extensibility.
Release Management & Governance
- Define and oversee enterprise ALM strategies for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
- Manage solution versioning, deployment pipelines, environment strategies, and release governance across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
- Drive best practices for CI/CD, solution lifecycle management, and platform stability using Power Platform Pipelines.
- Partner with cross-functional business and technology teams during SAFe PI Planning and enterprise delivery cycles.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to developers, administrators, analysts, and implementation partners.
- Occasionally step into hands-on technical work to resolve blockers, reduce technical debt, or validate architectural direction.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of enterprise architecture or solution architecture experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Deep expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE modules including Sales and Customer Service.
- Strong experience with Customer Insights Journeys (CIJ), Dataverse, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proven experience designing enterprise integrations involving ERP systems, middleware, APIs, and Azure services.
- Hands-on knowledge of ALM, CI/CD, and release management practices within D365 and Power Platform environments.
- Experience operating within Agile and SAFe delivery models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture leadership with hands-on technical problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and enterprise AI governance strategies.
- Prior experience leading vendor governance and implementation oversight engagements.
Additional Information:
- Quarterly travel required for SAFe PI Planning and strategic alignment sessions.
- This role requires a highly collaborative leader who can operate effectively across architecture, engineering, product, and executive stakeholder groups.
