Job description

The Power Platform Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and governing the enterprise-wide architecture, standards, and best practices for Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

This role drives strategic adoption of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio while ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.

The architect collaborates closely with business leaders, IT, security teams, and delivery teams to design robust, low-code solutions and enable enterprise modernization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Align Power Platform strategy with the broader Microsoft ecosystem including M365, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
  • Evaluate platform capabilities, connectors, licensing models, and extensibility options.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks including Center of Excellence models, ALM, environment strategy, and DLP policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Partner with security teams to manage identity, access, and data protection using Azure AD and Microsoft Purview.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews for complex Power Platform solutions.
  • Guide development teams in designing scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions.
  • Support integration with enterprise systems through Azure services, APIs, and connectors.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor architects, developers, and citizen developers.
  • Drive adoption through training, enablement, and best-practice programs.
  • Stay current with Microsoft roadmap, AI capabilities, and Copilot advancements.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize legacy applications with low-code/no-code technologies.
  • Promote automation, efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong expertise with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop), Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, and Service Bus.
  • Strong understanding of ALM, DevOps, and CI/CD practices for Power Platform.
  • Experience designing enterprise governance and Center of Excellence models.
  • Ability to define standards, guardrails, and best practices at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, security, and compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, PL-400, PL-900, or Azure Architect certifications.
  • Experience in digital transformation or modernization programs.
  • Consulting or client-facing experience in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with AI Builder, Copilot, or intelligent automation capabilities.
