Job summary

Komline, a pioneering leader in separation technologies, seeks a Senior D365 Project Accounting & Costing Implementation Lead to design and implement project accounting and manufacturing costing in D365 F&O across Komline’s operations.

You will partner with controllers, project managers, engineering, and manufacturing teams to standardize budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and POC processes for engineer-to-order and make-to-order environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Dynamics AX or D365 F&O with project costing experience.
• Participation in at least two full ERP implementations including D365 in engineer-to-order or make-to-order environments.
• Ability to trace and reconcile project costs across production orders and multilevel assemblies.
• Experience translating POC and revenue‑recognition policies into system processes, testing, controls, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, actuals, commitments, forecasts, estimate to complete, and estimate at completion.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to Komline sites, subject to confirmation before posting.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and translate approved policies into system requirements and controls.
• Configure project structures, budgets, forecasts, billing, and posting rules; establish consistent project review and change-control processes.
• Partner with Finance to define POC and revenue-recognition requirements, including costs, methods, versions, adjustments, and reconciliation rules.
• Design estimate-to-complete and estimate-at-completion processes with forecast revisions and purchasing visibility.
• Trace material, labor, overhead, and WIP costs through production orders and assemblies into project financials; identify gaps.
• Evaluate standard D365 capabilities, third-party solutions, and extensions; document limitations with the solution architect.
• Define reporting requirements for budgets, actuals, commitments, forecasts, variances, and POC; reconcile reports to GL.
• Own functional mapping and validation for open projects, budgets, WIP; coordinate migration with data engineers/owners.
• Lead testing of project and manufacturing cost flows, forecast changes, billing, and period-end scenarios.
• Train project managers and controllers on recurring cost-review, forecasting, POC, and project-close procedures.
• Support cutover and post-go-live stabilization across Komline’s portfolio.
