Job summary

Empiric is seeking a Senior Business Central Developer to own an ongoing integration project and drive completion across development, testing, and deployment. You will review architecture, refine BC AL code, and ensure reliable API integrations and Azure-based connections.

Remote work within the United States is supported, with the ability to work independently and take technical ownership of the solution until delivery.

Have you taken over a Business Central integration project that was already underway — and been the person responsible for getting it across the finish line?

I’m currently working with a client looking for a Senior Business Central Developer to take ownership of an integration project that’s already in progress.

The mapping and custom APIs are already in place. The focus now is bringing the remaining development, integration and testing through to completion.

What you’ll be working on:

• Reviewing the existing BC architecture, code and integration design
• Completing development using AL and Business Central extensions
• Validating custom API integrations, data flows and error handling
• Working with Business Central Projects/Jobs and finance-related workflows
• Supporting integrations through Azure Functions and/or direct system integrations
• Owning technical testing, defect resolution, deployment and handover

What I’m looking for:

• Proven experience building custom APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with Business Central Projects/Jobs
• Experience with Azure Functions and/or direct integrations
• Experience taking over existing technical solutions, identifying gaps and driving them through to completion
• Someone comfortable working independently and taking technical ownership
• 6-month contract
• 100% remote within the US
• 40 hours per week
