Job summary

AO Partners is seeking an experienced ERP/Systems Analyst to optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for a PE-backed BPO and technology services firm in the automotive sector. The role is a bridge between business operations and technology, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Sales to translate needs into scalable ERP solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on D365 BC or Dynamics NAV experience, strong finance knowledge, and proven requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an ERP/Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Solutions Architect.
• Hands-on experience with D365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, purchasing, and sales processes.
• Ability to gather requirements, identify gaps, and design practical ERP solutions.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or AL/extensions is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• BC configuration, enhancements, and ongoing system optimization.
• Requirements gathering and solution design across key business functions.
• Integration management with third-party systems, vendors, and developers.

The company recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and is now looking for a seasoned functional expert to help them maximize the platform. This is a high-visibility role with real influence over how the ERP evolves as the business scales.

This is a bridge role - sitting at the intersection of business operations and technology, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Sales to translate real business needs into scalable ERP solutions. The right candidate will bring both functional depth and the initiative to drive meaningful process improvement without being hand-held.

Key Responsibilities:

• BC configuration, enhancements, and ongoing system optimization
• Requirements gathering and solution design across key business functions
• Integration management with third-party systems, vendors, and developers
• Master data management, reporting accuracy, and system governance
• User acceptance testing, training, documentation, and adoption

Ideal background:

• 5+ years as a Systems/ERP Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Solutions Architect
• Strong hands-on experience with D365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV

• Proven ability to gather requirements, identify gaps, and design practical ERP solutions
• Experience in financial services or adjacent industries a plus
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or AL/extensions a bonus
• Development experience helpful but secondary - this is a functional expert role first
