Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic D2C eCommerce Sales Manager / Category Manager to lead the growth of our direct-to-consumer (D2C) eCommerce channel, focusing on the TV category. The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, manage the TV product category, and drive revenue growth within the eCommerce space. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

Sales Management
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and business plans tailored to the D2C eCommerce channel.
  2. Oversee Profit & Loss (P&L) for specific product categories within the eCommerce channel, ensuring financial targets are met.
  3. Conduct sales forecasting and demand planning, considering seasonality, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  4. Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  5. Design and implement communication and promotional strategies to drive consumer demand and enhance brand visibility.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with marketing and product teams to align efforts and achieve channel-specific goals.
Product Management
  1. Lead the development of product roadmaps and positioning strategies for assigned categories.
  2. Manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in sales management, category management, or eCommerce, especially in D2C channels.
  2. Fluent Czech language skills and pre-intermediate English proficiency.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  4. Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
  5. Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  7. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term plans and address short-term challenges.
