Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team at the new megafab in the Silicon Prairie. You will interface with engineering and manufacturing groups to ensure issues are solved efficiently and provide process and product support to the organization.

Responsibilities include testing and experiments for engineering in wafer fabrication, monitoring and guiding line operators, testing new products, and assisting process development and engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in wafer fabrication.
• Monitor, audit and guide line operators once the product is on the line.
• Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering.
• Analyze tool performance data and protect the line.
• Be the eyes and ears of the fab engineering team, highlight and drive solutions on the floor.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve production issues quickly.

This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.
