Intek Plastics in Hastings, MN is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator for 2nd shift. We offer full paid training through a 2-week course, and no prior experience is required.

You’ll join a team that celebrates problem solving and practical learning in a fast-paced environment. As part of the extrusion team, you will set up and operate extrusion equipment, read prints, monitor quality, and perform changeovers.

• Mechanically inclined and curious about how things work.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Great at organizing tasks and managing priorities.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Has a reliable attendance and work history.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment (extruders, co-extruders, heater bands, dies, etc.).
• Start up machines and set parameters to produce high-quality products.
• Read and understand prints, dimensions, and packaging specs.
• Monitor and measure product quality, record data in SPC and LCS systems.
• Perform changeovers, adjust lengths and angles during runs.
• Tear down and clean equipment for the next production cycle.
• Keep track of production data and footage.
