Job summary

Concorde Education seeks experienced Dungeons & Dragons instructors to deliver after-school enrichment at partner schools. This is an independent contractor role with on-site sessions typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, over 8–10 week assignments; start dates rolling.

Instructors facilitate storytelling, game mechanics, teamwork, and problem-solving, maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment and communicating with school staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 60 college credits or equivalent instructional experience.
• Experience running D&D or similar tabletop games is preferred.
• Experience with children in schools, camps, or after-school programs.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Professional, reliable, and organized work habits.
• Ability to maintain age-appropriate content.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging D&D or tabletop sessions at partner sites.
• Prepare age-appropriate adventures, materials, and session plans.
• Facilitate collaborative storytelling and encourage participation.
• Adapt gameplay to age, experience, and school expectations.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Ensure content is school-appropriate and respectful.
• Communicate with school personnel and Concorde Education representatives about attendance and scheduling.
• Follow school policies, safety expectations, and protocols.
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions.
