Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of department and related components, including location of switches, valves, and controls.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of tool usage.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance such as bearing replacement, chain setting, oil/lube maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
• Ability to work overhead on a ladder or scaffolding in high areas.
• Must be able to stoop or bend to work below knee level.
• Take daily instructions from supervisor and carry out assignments with little supervision.
• Use precision instruments such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers and micrometers as required.
• Dismantle, identify, repair, and reassemble all types of machinery in the department in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Maintain and service department machinery and equipment.
• Identify malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Inspect and calibrate components using precision instruments.
• Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions to complete tasks.
• Coordinate with team to ensure uptime and proper operation of equipment.
