The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Distribution Center security role in South Brunswick, NJ. You will monitor docks, alarms, CCTV, and access controls to protect assets and maintain safety.

The position emphasizes integrity, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced retail logistics environment. Key tasks include overseeing merchandise movement, enforcing safety regulations, and supporting loss prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of computer systems and basic software.
• Loss prevention experience is a plus but not required.
• Education in Criminal Justice field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection of all company assets, including people, property and information.
• Monitor Shipping/Receiving docks, trailer yard activities, alarm systems and access controls, parking lots and all other key areas in the Distribution Center.
• Oversee majority of merchandise entering or leaving the facility.
• Maintenance of established fire and safety regulations within the Distribution Center.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing trailers are processed.
• Display integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Conduct CCTV surveillance and investigate potential dishonest activity.

This position has a starting pay range of $15.13 to $20.10 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. There will be a shift differential pay of $1.25 per hour for 2nd shift schedules.
