Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a shift-based role in New Jersey. You will help protect assets, monitor docks, and oversee merchandise flow within a climate-controlled distribution environment.

Key tasks include CCTV surveillance, incident investigation, and maintaining professional conduct while handling sensitive situations. Strong communication and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience preferred but not required.
• Education pertaining to the Criminal Justice Field preferred but not required.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection of all company assets, including people, property and information.
• Monitor Shipping/Receiving docks, trailer yard activities, alarm systems and access controls, parking lots and all other key areas in the Distribution Center.
• Oversee majority of merchandise entering or leaving the facility.
• Maintenance of established fire and safety regulations within the Distribution Center.
• Ensures incoming and outgoing trailers are processed.
• Maintains a professional manner and can effectively handle all situations.
• Conduct CCTV surveillance and investigate potential dishonest activity.
• Display integrity and maintain confidentiality.

This position has a starting pay range of $15.13 to $20.10 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. There will be a shift differential pay of $1.25 per hour for 2nd shift schedules.
