Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Cytotechnologist (PRN) to prepare and read cytology samples, including PAP smears and FNAs. The role involves staining, mounting, and documenting findings to support pathology reports.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and ASCP CT is preferred, with 1–3 years of experience typically expected. PRN on-site role based in Kansas, with responsibilities across the cytology lab to ensure quality control and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• C.T. (ASCP) preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stains, mounts, and studies cells to detect cancer or abnormalities.
• Prepare and analyze samples such as PAP smears and FNAs.
• Provide data to assist pathologists in pathology reports.
• Maintain QC and regulatory standards in the lab.
• Assist with specimen collection and slide preparation as needed.
