Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related science.
• Experience with Thin-Prep Imaging System; Review Scope a plus; 0-2+ years related experience.
• ASCP Board Certification.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and micro-screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs microscopic evaluation of cellular samples and makes cytological interpretations.
• Correlates findings with supervisors and pathologists.
• Records specimen and results data accurately.
• Maintains safe handling of slides and equipment per procedures.
• Adheres to turnaround times and quality standards.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
