Growing Laboratory Hiring Cytotechnologist

• Days or Nights
• This individual is responsible for screening and diagnosing gynecological and non-gynecological slides while working under the supervision of the pathologists and supervisor, following their technical direction. Activities include accessioning, staining, microscopic screening, and filing of cytology slides and requisitions. The cytotechnologist will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. Additionally, they will participate fully in all cytology quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and management standards outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies. This individual will troubleshoot technical procedures within the department and make recommendations for solutions.
