ChristianaCare’s Anatomic Pathology team in Newark is seeking a Cytotechnologist to provide precise cytology evaluations under Pathologist guidance. The role supports both gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens and involves FNA adequacy assessments, reagent preparation, and strict regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline with Cytotechnology certification program completion
• CT (ASCP) certification preferred
• One year of Cytology experience
• Experience with fine needle aspiration adequacy assessment

• Examine gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens according to established laboratory protocols
• Perform microscopic evaluation and interpretation of cytologic specimens
• Participate in fine needle aspiration (FNA) adequacy assessment procedures

What You’ll Do

As a Cytotechnologist, you will work closely with Pathologists and laboratory professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information that directly impacts patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Examine gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens according to established laboratory protocols
• Perform microscopic evaluation and interpretation of cytologic specimens

Qualifications

Hourly Pay Range: $38.98 - $62.38

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
