Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological or clinical laboratory science is required.
• Certification as CT (ASCP), SCAT (ASCP) or CT (CMIAC) is required or must pass certifying exam within one year.
• State of Ohio SCT credential may be required.

• Performs independent microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens.
• Assesses adequacy of specimens and prepares final patient reports for pathologist review.
• Assists with fine needle aspirations and correlates cytology results with clinical data.
