South Bend Medical Foundation invites applications for a Cytotechnologist to examine gynecologic and non-gynecologic samples and provide accurate, timely diagnoses in a pathology-focused lab. You will work closely with pathologists and lab teammates to uphold high quality and safety standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program.
• Current CT(ASCP) certification or eligibility to obtain certification within an approved timeframe.
• Strong microscopic evaluation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to meet competency, continuing education, and documentation requirements for cytology practice.

Responsabilidades

• Perform gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology screening.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff.
• Maintain quality, safety, regulatory compliance and patient care standards.
• Assist with implementation and validation of new technologies and workflows.
• Support training and development of students and colleagues as appropriate.
